There is no bamboo anywhere in the note list for Weil Bambou Perfume, and the richness is the real surprise, Sicilian mandarin standing alone at the top, bright and clean, a single citrus with nothing propping it up. Jasmine, ylang ylang, tea rose and tuberose gather into a heart of real density, four white and rosy florals layered with genuine generosity. Bourbon vetiver, oakmoss and sandalwood settle it green, mossy and dry. The name suggests something light and green, and the composition delivers something considerably richer instead, an opulent floral chypre that the branding never quite hints at.
