The MelodySusie Large Barrel Smooth Top Tungsten Carbide Nail Drill Bits Medium is a carbide drill bit with a large barrel and a smooth, rounded top. That rounded top is the difference with a bit that has a sharp edge: if you touch the cuticle or the sidewall while you work, it does not cut in.

A medium grit sits between taking off and finishing, so you use this bit for shaping, smoothing and backfills, and for taking off gel, acrylic, dip powder and hard gel. The cross-cut pattern clears the material away so the bit does not clog. It turns both ways, so left and right handed both work. The universal 3/32 inch shank fits most electric nail drills.
