Oud Couture reinterprets classic oud from a New York perspective,
incorporating notes of rose, saffron and benzoin.

During a mother-daughter trip to Saudi Arabia,
Carolina and Carolina A. Herrera were gifted a vial of oud oil,
which instantly captivated them with its dark and sensual aroma.

This precious and ancient ingredient is the foundation of the Arabian ritual of perfume layering,
combined with other oils and fragrances to provide lightness and complexity.

On her return to New York,
Carolina A. Herrera was inspired to create a different interpretation,
one that would refocus time-honored oud through a New York perspective,
merging Eastern and Western traditions.
