Night Song Vintage Absolu de Parfum by TRNP-Teone Reinthal Natural Perfume

The Scene…A lush, tropical garden park at dusk. The air is singing with the molasses-thick scents of champaca flowers and pink lotus. The Sufis have come and taken their seats in the courtyard, where lanterns are lit and begin to glow and incense drifts upwards to the stars.

The tablas begin, the shruti starts its drone, and the Emperor of Qawwali, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan arrives to begin his incredible Night Song.

Best by far when worn in humid, hot weather, I imagine Night Song as the queenly scent worn by the Empress Draupadi (Sanskrit: योजनगन्धा) – ‘she whose fragrance can be felt for miles’.

NIGHT SONG Vintage featured ingredients:- Champaca, Pink lotus, Hindi Oud, Viet oud, Frankincense, Myrrh, Tobacco, Patchouli and spice accord.

I recently found a hidden stash of my original, undiluted Night Song formula from 2016. After diluting it in ethanol, I found that the top notes had softened, and needed a little help, so I’ve added a boost of aged Sumatran patchouli to refresh it. The punch is back and the dry-down is gorgeous, and it will continue to mature and gain potency over the years.

* PLEASE NOTE This release, the 2025 NIGHT SONG perfume is the original Night Song formula from 2016.

I previously described it on my instagram posts as Night Song OG but it’s the exact same juice.

We only had a very few labels left over from the first release so I ordered more with our current brand & logo. It’s totally fitting for this fragrance to slot into this collection – The SUNSET EFFECT, due to its name, its nature and its late return.
