For a sharp, citrusy freshness with snap to it, L.12.12 Blanc Cologne from Lacoste opens on green notes and finger lime. Eucalyptus and cardamom take the heart, cool and lightly spiced, keeping the freshness from turning one dimensional. Pine tree and cedar close the foundation dry and resinous, a straightforward woody finish with nothing extraneous added.
