Twenty materials work across three stages of Escape, an uncommonly dense structure for a fragrance now considered a nineties floral landmark. Lychee, chamomile, apple, peach, hyacinth, marigold, black currant and mandarin crowd the opening into a fruity, herbal burst rarely matched at this scale. Carnation, jasmine, rose, peach and clove build a full spiced floral center that shifts the fragrance further from its fruity start. Oakmoss, amber, musk, cedar, vetiver, sandalwood and vanilla round things out warm and layered, giving Escape Eau de Parfum its signature soft, long-lasting conclusion. Fall and winter bring the woody, ambered close forward most clearly, though the fruity top keeps it wearable into spring.
